Mariana Kvalvik is an esthetician, business owner, and sugaring educator with more than 13 years of
experience in the aesthetics industry. Throughout her career, she has held esthetics licenses in Tennessee,
Washington, and Hawaii, giving her experience across diverse markets and professional environments.
Mariana is the owner of Bloom Advanced Skin & Sugar in Cookeville, Tennessee, where sugaring is a
cornerstone of her practice. Her career has taken her from working independently as an esthetician to
cosmetic dermatology, medical aesthetics, spa management, training, and ultimately owning her own
practice.
Her passion for sugaring led her into education as a Savvy Certified Sugaring Educator through a CIDESCO-
endorsed certification program. Today, she provides one-on-one sugaring certification, hands-on training,
and ongoing mentorship to estheticians. Her approach to education emphasizes strong fundamentals,
proper technique, skin integrity, client comfort, efficiency, and the ability to adapt to each individual client.
As a Sugaring Judge for The Skin Games, Mariana is honored to bring both a working esthetician’s and
educator’s perspective to the competition. She looks forward to recognizing exceptional technique,
celebrating the artistry and skill behind sugaring, and supporting fellow estheticians as they challenge
themselves and grow in their craft.
