Compassionate Category — Celebrating Acts of Compassion and Service

The Skin Games honors beauty professionals who are making a difference through acts of compassion and service. Whether you’re partnering with a nonprofit or independently performing acts of kindness, this category highlights your commitment to making the world a better place.

The Skin Games- Compassionate Category is offering the opportunity to highlight all the great things you and/or your business are doing to make the world a better place. 

You don’t need to work directly with a nonprofit to enter! You can submit your acts of compassion or service that you perform on your own (without receiving payment for these acts). If you win, the prize money will be awarded to the nonprofit organization of your choice.

How do I compete in the Compassionate Category?

Video Submission:
You’ll submit two videos, each up to 3 minutes long:

Video 1 — About you, your business, and your “why” (≤ 3 minutes)
Tell a complete, easy-to-follow story that covers:

⦁ Who you are: your name, role/title, and where you’re based

⦁ Your business: business name, what you do (e.g., esthetician, MUA, cosmetologist, massage therapist)

⦁ Your nonprofit partner: clearly name the organization and what it does.

⦁ Your “why”: the background or personal reason you chose this nonprofit or started the initiative.

Video 2 — Show your act of compassion & impact (≤ 3 minutes)

⦁ What you did: clearly describe the act of compassion or program (what, when, where, who’s involved).

⦁ Show it: include visual evidence—clips or photos of you actively participating

⦁ Who it helps & how: explain the community need, who benefits, and a testimonial

⦁ If you win: state how the prize funds will be used inside the nonprofit

Note: Points will be deducted for incomplete videos, so please be thorough.

Documentation Required:
Along with your videos, you must submit:

Completed questionnaire detailing your involvement and impact.

Information for the Non-profit you are playing for (details about the nonprofit organization you choose to receive the prize money (name, address, and proof of nonprofit status).

Contact information for the nonprofit’s representative.

Rules for the Compassionate Category:

Eligibility
Open to beauty professionals worldwide.

Limited to 10 finalists, selected by a panel of judges.

Important Dates & Process
All entries, including videos and documentation, are due by January 15, 2026.

Submissions will be uploaded through our designated platform.

Finalists will be interviewed live during The Skin Games event.

Prize Money
Prize money will be awarded directly to the nonprofit organization.

Documentation on how the funds are used must be provided to maintain transparency and integrity.
