The Skin Games is proud to welcome SkyLee Edmiston, LE, LEI, Nutritionist, to the judging panel for the first time this year! Representing Face the Fight and Fusion Beauty Collective in Tucson, Arizona, SkyLee brings a refreshing blend of honesty, fairness, and science-backed knowledge to the Holistic Category.
A Judge with Balance and Brilliance
A self-proclaimed Libra with a natural sense of fairness, SkyLee believes in ensuring every competitor feels seen, heard, and respected. Her goal? To create a judging environment that celebrates authenticity while maintaining the highest professional standards.
“I try to be fair in all areas of my life and this will be no exception. Maybe it’s my Libra nature!” she laughs.
She’s known for her straightforward honesty—think Simon Cowell with better skin—and her unwavering belief that passion and research go hand in hand.
“I value passion first and foremost, but I also want to see real science. Not anecdotal knowledge or brand influence—actual research!”
Advice for Competitors
When asked what advice she’d give to this year’s players, SkyLee keeps it simple and sincere:
“Be authentic and true to yourself. At the end of the day, we’re watching and listening to YOU—and we want to know the real you.”
That authenticity is something she’s carried throughout her own career, reminding players that The Skin Games is not just about awards—it’s about connection, learning, and community.
A Defining Moment
SkyLee recalls a moment that perfectly captures her outlook on competition and camaraderie:
“I didn’t win first place, and I wasn’t even sad or mad, because I met AMAZING people who changed my life—Steve from NeoGenesis, Moto Kinjo, and Holly Brown. They inspired me beyond words.”
It’s this gratitude and growth mindset that make SkyLee such an asset to the judging team.
Fun Facts About SkyLee
- Favorite product: Apoterra Vitamin C Regenerative Balm — her current obsession
- Skincare myth she dislikes: “Diet hasn’t been conclusively proven to affect skin health.” (She jokes, “Then why do I wake up with a pimple every time I have one glass of sake?!”)
- Judging-day ritual: Two shots of espresso, two ounces of milk, and a splash of lavender — balanced, just like her approach to judging
Looking Ahead
As SkyLee joins the judging panel for her first year, she’s bringing her signature mix of science, fairness, and fun to The Skin Games stage. Whether she’s evaluating protocols, mentoring new estheticians, or sharing her unfiltered honesty, one thing’s for sure—she’ll keep everyone grounded, inspired, and maybe even laughing along the way.
Welcome to the panel, SkyLee—we’re so glad you’re here!
